CEH Practical is the hands-on companion to the Certified Ethical Hacker credential. Where the main CEH exam is multiple choice, the Practical is a six-hour exam in a live network: twenty challenges, real targets, and a score that comes from what you actually compromised. It exists because "knows the theory" and "can do it" are different things, and employers learned to ask for the second one.
This is a short, intense preparation programme. It assumes you have covered the CEH body of knowledge — the tools, the phases, the vocabulary — and now need to be fast and accurate under a clock. The teaching is almost entirely lab work, because the exam is.
There is no essay and no report. You solve challenges in the iLabs environment and submit the answers you recovered. Speed matters as much as skill: twenty challenges in six hours is roughly eighteen minutes each.
